About Me

I am a multi-platform journalist trained through
the BBC’s Journalism Trainee Scheme. I graduated with a First Class BA Hons
International Journalism degree from the University Of Central Lancashire. I also
blog as ‘TheBlindJournalist’, which is something I have been doing for the last
five years.

My BBC training, religion, ethnic background and
degree have given me great opportunities to gain relevant journalistic
experience and my published work proves I am extremely capable of producing
work, in various forms, at the highest standard. I have also shown that I am
able to bring original stories that reflect diverse audiences.

I suffer from a degenerative eye condition
called Retinitis Pigmentosa and I feel this strongly influences my outlook on
life and gives me the motivation to succeed regardless of the obstacles which
come in my way.

I may be blind but I have a vision
